Best Tourist Beaches on Mactan Island
L Many times you will hear the Beaches on Mactan are not that good.. This is really not a correct statement. Although most of Mactan Islands beaches are man made, Mactan island is one of the largest coral islands in the Archipelago chain.. Unfortunately years and years of over fishing and over development has caused a major portion of the natural coral to be destroyed. Plus the structure of the Island, has over the years declined the natural White Sands in which make great beaches.. But, even with this, Mactan Island holds a great abundance of beach opportunity's for travelers.. Now , you will find that our beaches are smaller in size, and the sand is not as fine powder and as white as you will find in other parts of The Philippines. What are beaches do offer, is the relaxing and tranquil days of rest and not hundreds of tourist kicking sand all around and over top of you.. You will find many people on our beaches, but in moderate numbers. More time to meet and talk with other travelers and locals. A more personal touch, with still a great and wonderful experience..
